Bacon Chicken Pasta with Peas

This is a super amazing and tasty recipe that is sure to please the whole family.  The bacon makes this meal taste luxurious and I am sure that anyone that eats is will truly enjoy it.



2 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast, sliced into bite sized pieces

2 T Italian Dressing

1 T Butter

1 T Olive Oil

1/2 lb.  Bacon, cut into thin slices of diced

1 large Shallot, diced

2 Cloves Garlic, minced

1/2 C White Wine

1/8 C Pasta Water

1/4 C Heavy Cream

1 C Peas

1 lb. Linguine

2 Eggs, beaten

2/3 C Parmesan Cheese, shredded

1/2 tsp. Garlic Salt

Pepper to taste


-Heat Italian Dressing in skillet over medium heat, add in chicken and cook until done, remove from pan and set aside.

-In large bowl combine egg, parmesan cheese, garlic salt and pepper, set aside.

-Cook pasta per package directions, reserve 1/8 C water.  When pasta is done and drained, pour in cooked pasta while still hot into egg mixture.

-Heat oil and butter in skillet over medium high heat, add in bacon and cook 6-7 minutes.  Reduce temperature to medium and add in shallot, cook 3 minutes, add in garlic, cooking 1 minutes.

-Pour in wine and cook 2-3 minutes or until wine reduces.  Add in water, cream, peas and chicken.  Cook stirring often for 5 more minutes.

-Pour sauce over pasta, serve immediately.  Enjoy!
