Okay, I know that this sounds totally crazy, but let me tell you it was surprisingly delicious. I wanted pizza the other night but the tiny humans wanted mac and cheese and hotdogs, so I said why not combine both.

6 Hotdogs, sliced thin
1 Box Macaroni and Cheese (I used blue box classic)
2 C Grated Mozzarella
2 C Grated Colby Jack Cheese
1 1/4 C Grate Gouda
1/2 T Butter
1/4 C Minced Yellow Onion
14 oz. Can Chili, no beans
6oz Can Tomato Paste (Italian seasoned if possible)
1 T Yellow Mustard
1 T Ketchup
Dash Worcestershire Sauce
1/3 C Spinach, finely diced
-Cook macaroni and cheese per package directions, drain and prepare, and set aside (I add 2 T Sour Cream, 1 T Dijon Mustard and seasoning salt to mine, this isn’t necessary though).
-In small pot over medium heat melt butter, add in onion, season with salt and pepper. Cook until onion softens. Add in chili and tomato paste, stir well until sauces liquefies some, add in remaining ingredients, simmer for 10 minutes. Cover and allow to cool a bit.
-Roll or toss dough per package instructions, brush with olive oil. Top each pizza with 1/2 of sauce, then 1/2 of gouda, 1/2 of mac and cheese, then half of hotdogs.
-Top with mozzarella and Colby jack cheese. Bake per package directions. If you follow my dough recipe bake 425 degrees for 18 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool at least 8 minutes prior to serving. Enjoy!
