Broccoli and Bacon Pasta Salad with Ranch

I needed a new pasta salad for the 4th of July, this is what idea I came up with.  I love bacon and my family loves broccoli and ranch, so I must admit it was the perfect combination.


24 oz. Macaroni Pasta (I used GF)

2 C Broccoli, florets removed

2 Carrots, grated

1 1/2 C Frozen Green Peas (defrosted)

2 Stalks Celery, finely diced

1 lb. Bacon, cooked crisp, crumbled

2 C Ranch Dressing (use GF if needed)

3/4 C Italian Dressing


-Cook and drain pasta per package directions. Allow to cool before mixing for final step.

-Blanch broccoli, place in heavily salted boiling water for 1-2 minutes, remove and place in bowl of ice water.

-Combine ranch and Italian dressing together.

-In large bowl combine all ingredients together except bacon.  Allow to sit in fridge for at least 3 hours to allow flavors to combine.  Add in bacon and stir well, the pasta will absorb the dressing, but trust me, this is okay it will still be good.  Enjoy!
