Garlic and Cabbage Rice


1/4 C Butter

2 1/2 C Diced Cabbage

3 large Garlic Cloves, minced

5 Green Onions, white and light green parts, sliced thin

3 C Vegetable Stock

2 C Jasmine Rice

Salt and Pepper to taste


-In medium pot over medium high heat, melt butter, add in cabbage, dust in salt and pepper.  Cook until cabbage starts to brown.

-Add in onion and garlic, cook 1 minute.  Pour in broth and bring to boil.  Stir in rice, cover reduce temperature to low.  Cook 15 minutes, remove from heat and allow to rest 5-7 minutes.  Fluff and lightly stir rice prior to serving. Enjoy!
