Resturant Style Mexican Red Rice




4 C Vegetable Stock (can use Chicken)

2 C Basmati Rice (other long grain rice ok)

3/4 tsp. Garlic Powder

1/2 tsp. Cumin

1/4 tsp. Paprika

Salt and Pepper to taste

10 oz. Can Tomato Sauce

4T Fine Diced Fresh Cilantro


-Place all ingredients except tomato sauce, cilantro and rice in pot, bring to boil, stir in rice, reduce temperature to low simmer, cover and cook 18 minutes.

-Remove pot from stove and allow to sit for 5 minutes.

-Stir in tomato sauce and cilantro.  Enjoy!
