1 Stick of Butter, softened
1/4 C Shortening
3/4 C Packed Brown Sugar
1/2 C White Sugar
2 1/4 C AP Flour
2 tsp. Cornstarch
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Vanilla Flavoring
1/4 tsp. Salt
12 oz. Bag Mini Chocolate Chips
8 Slices Bacon, cooked crisp, broken into pieces
-In bowl of stand mixture, combine butter and shortening. Cream in sugars. Add in eggs one at a time.
-Add in all other ingredients except bacon and chocolate chips until well blended. Add in bacon and chips.
-Refrigerate dough 20 minutes prior to baking.
-Spoon dough by large tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake 350 9-11 minutes. Allow to rest and cool on baking sheet prior to moving to cooling rack.
