10-12 Medium Red Potatoes, peeled and rough cut
2 T Butter, softened
4 oz. Cream Cheese, cubed, softened
1/2 C Half and Half
1/4 C Sour Cream
3 Cloves Garlic, minced
1/2 T Dried Chives
Milk as needed
Salt and Pepper to taste
-Place potatoes in pot, add in garlic salt cover in water. Bring to boil, and cook about 18 minutes. Drain.
-Place drained potatoes back into pot or large bowl. Using masher, mash potatoes slightly. Add in butter and cream cheese, and allow to partially melt.
-Using hand mixer add in remaining ingredients, ensure that mixture isn’t lumpy. Please note the milk is per you, some people like their more loose and some potatoes need more. Enjoy!
