I needed a new wing sauce for NYE, half those coming love hot wings. So I recreated, at least to the best of my ability Buffalo Wild Wing’s Hot Wing Sauce.
1 C Frank’s Hot Sauce
1/4 C Frank’s Buffalo Wing Sauce
1/4 C Butter
2 T Water
1 1/2 tsp. Sugar
1/2 tsp. Ancho Chili Powder (can use cayenne, may need to adjust amount)
1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
-In metal pot over medium heat combine all ingredients. Bring to simmer, reduce temperature and simmer 20 minutes, whisking occasionally.
-Fry wings as you normally would, drain, place in container with tight fitting lid, pour about 1/4 C sauce, shake and serve. Enjoy!
