Bacon Cheeseburger Dip

I needed a new recipe for New Years Eve, this was the winner.



1 T Bacon Grease (if you don’t have don’t worry)

1 T Worcestershire Sauce

1 lb. Ground Chuck

8oz. Cream Cheese, softened

2 T Spicy Mustard

2 T Worcestershire Sauce

1/2 T Weber’s Burger Seasoning(your favorite will work the same)

1/4 tsp. Onion Powder

1/4 tsp. Garlic Powder

3T Butter

3 T Flour

1/2 C Milk

1/2 C Beer of choice

1 1/2 C Grated Colby Jack Cheese

1 1/2 C Swiss Cheese, grated

1/2 C Bacon Crumbles (cook bacon to crisp and crumble)


-In skillet, heat bacon grease and 1 T Worcestershire sauce.  Add in beef and add salt and pepper.  Cook until fully done, and crumbled.  Drain grease.

-In medium pot over medium heat, melt 3 T butter, whisk in flour to create roux.  Whisk in milk and beer, dissolve roux.  Add in Colby jack cheese a little at a time, stirring often until fully ,melted and blended.

-In large bowl using hand mixer, mix cream cheese until light and fluffy, add in mustard, 2 T Worcestershire sauce, onion and garlic powder and burger seasoning.  Whisk in cheese sauce, then cooked beef and bacon.  Finally add in Swiss cheese.

-Place mixture in baking dish.  Bake 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.  Serve with your favorite crackers, chips or bread (I used small garlic bread).  Enjoy!
