1 Package Turkey Smoked Sausage (pork or beef ok)
1/2 Yellow Onion, minced
1 T Butter
1 C Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1 T Cornstarch
3/4 C Evaporated Milk
1 Jar Red Sauce of choice
1/4 tsp. Red Chili Flakes
1/2 C Diced Fresh Spinach
-Cut sausage in half so that you can pan fry. Add cornstarch to cheese, this will be a thickening agent.
-In medium pot over medium heat, brown sausage, remove from pan, add in butter and reduce temperature. Add in onion, cook about 3 minutes or until onion softens. Slice or dice sausage, set aside.
-Add in cheese and milk, cook and stir often until cheese melts. Add in red sauce, chip flake and spinach, stir often until cheese sauce blends with red sauce. Add in sausage and cook until warmed thorough.
- Pour sauce over pasta. Enjoy!
