Copycat Resturant Style Duck Sauce

This is one of my family’s favorite Asian sauces.  I decided to try my hand at making it myself.  Its really close to the one at our favorite restaurant.



1/2 C Apricot Preserve

1 tsp. Rice Wine Vinegar

1/2 tsp. Water

1/8 tsp. Dry Mustard

1/8t tsp. Salt

1/8 tsp. Garlic Powder

Dash Chili Powder

Dash Soy Sauce


-Combine all ingredients in small saucepan.  Heat over medium/low heat until preserves melt and spices blend.

-Pour sauce through mesh sieve to remove any bigger chunks left from preserves.  Enjoy!
