Beef Noodle Soup

My family loves chicken noodle soup, so I figured I’d use the same idea and switch the ingredients.  This was a huge hit with my kiddos, so I think its safe to say it was good .

Ingredients:

1 T Butter

2 T Worcestershire Sauce

1 lb. Beef Stew Meat

2 Carrots, diced

2 Stalks Celery, diced

1 Onion, diced

1/2 C Cabbage, finely chopped (optional)

2 Cloves Garlic, minced

12 oz. Vegetable Broth

3 C Beef Broth

1/2 tsp. Ground Sage

1/2 tsp. Dried Thyme

1/2 tsp. Dried Tarragon

Salt and Pepper to taste

Bag Egg Noodles (amount depends on how many noodles you want, I used about half a bag)

Directions:

-In medium skillet over medium heat melt butter, add in Worcestershire sauce and meat.  Sear outsides of beef pieces.  Place in crockpot along with remaining butter and Worcestershire sauce.

-Add all other ingredients, except pasta to crockpot.  High 4-5 hours, Low 6-8 hours.  Add in pasta about 20 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
