I have a house full of tiny humans, so even I have my lazy nights. I also love nights that don’t take much work and make food that the kiddos wont complain about. And this recipe was born.
8 Hotdogs, sliced thin
1 15 oz. Can Chili (with or without beans) https://junecleaver21stcenturystyle.wordpress.com/2016/09/11/homemade-hotdog-chili/
1 15 oz. Can Diced Tomatoes, drained well
1 Bag Thin French Fries (I love OreIda Fast Food Fries)
2 C Cheddar Cheese, divided
-Preheat oven to 450 degrees, season fries, par-bake per package directions (about half the time on bag).
-In bowl combine chili, hotdogs, tomatoes, 1 C cheese. Grease 13X9 inch baking dish. Place hot dog mixture in bottom of dish.
-Top with fries. bake 30 minutes, top with remaining cheese and continue baking until melted and bubbly. Remove from oven, allow to rest about 10 minutes prior to eating. Enjoy!
