Ok, the title is long, I know, but I didn’t know what else to call this awesomeness. I almost never use canned green beans, but if you are like me, then you know there is a substantial taste difference between fresh and canned (even if you are using your own). This recipe was created to help hide the taste of the canning, not that its bad, to me its just weird.
1 Quart Canned Green Beans, drained
1 T Butter
1 T Bacon Grease
1 T Honey
1 T Low Sodium Soy Sauce
1 tsp. Minced Garlic
Dash Dried Thyme
2 T Grated Parmesan Cheese
-In a medium pot, add all ingredients except cheese and beans, over medium low heat. Cook until garlic is cooked and butter and bacon grease are melted.
-Add in green beans and cook until warm. Stir, toss in parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
