Dijon Green Beans with Ham and Swiss



1 lb. Fresh Green Beans, ends removed, and snapped if wanted

2 T Butter


2 Slices Swiss cheese, diced small

1 Piece Deli Ham Slice, diced small


2 T Butter

1 Medium Shallot, minced

1 tsp. Minced Garlic

2 T Dijon Mustard

1 T White Wine Vinegar

Dash Hot Sauce


-Steam green beans for 7 minutes, drain any extra moisture off.

-In small sauce pan, melt butter, add in garlic and shallot for sauce.  Allow to simmer until soft, add in remaining ingredients, set aside.

-In large skillet over medium heat, melt butter, add in steamed green beans, sprinkle with salt, and cook until tender but still crisp.

-Pour sauce over beans, reduce temperature to medium low, add in ham and swiss and cook until cheese is melt. Enjoy!
