This isn’t an exact flavor simply because I don’t use corn syrup and I make my own tomato sauce and paste from my garden grown tomatoes. But it is close enough to call a copycat recipe.
1 6oz. Can Tomato Paste
1 15 oz. Can Tomato Sauce
4T Water (if you want thicker sauce, use less)
3T White Wine Vinegar (can use apply cider)
2 tsp. Honey
1 tsp. Garlic Powder
1 tsp. Onion Powder
1 tsp. Chili Powder
1 tsp. Paprika
1 tsp. Salt (less if you want low sodium)
1 tsp. Cumin
1/2 tsp. Dried Oregano
-Mix all ingredients together in bowl. Store in airtight container in refrigerator until ready to use. Stir well before serving. Enjoy!
