Philly Cheesesteak Sliders

Don’t let the ingredient list scare you.  I like flavor through out my food, you can omit any of the ingredients to make this recipe yours.image

Ingredients:

Pepper and Onions:

1 Large Yellow Onion, diced

1 Large Green Bell Pepper, diced

2T Butter

1T Worcestershire Sauce

Meat:

3-4 Pounds Sirloin, sliced thin and small

4 T Butter

3T Worcestershire Sauce

Seasoning Salt to taste

1tsp. Paprika

1/2tsp. Onion Powder

3/4 tsp. Garlic Powder

1/2tsp. Celery Seed

Black Pepper to taste

Sandwiches:

Slider Rolls

Cheese of choice, sliced (I used provolone, but cheddar and even swiss is a great combo)

3T Butter

1tsp. Dried Minced Onion

Directions:

-In saucepan over medium heat, melt butter, add in Worcestershire sauce.  Toss in onions and peppers, coat, cook until soft.  Set aside.

-Melt butter for meat, add in Worcestershire sauce, and spices.  Cook meat until it is done.  Set aside.

-Place bottom half of rolls in baking pan, place meat then onions and peppers on meat.  Top with cheese and top half of roll.  Bake 350 for 10 minutes covered, 10 minutes uncovered.  Remove from oven.

-Melt butter and place dried onion in, simmer about 5 minutes or until onions soften.  Brush tops of cooked sandwiches with butter mixture.  Serve warm. Enjoy!
