3-5 lb. Country Style Ribs, fat trimmed
1 1/2 C Flour
1+T Cajun Seasoning (amount is up to you)
4 Eggs, beaten
1/4 C BBQ Sauce
1 1/2 C Cornflake Crumbs (can use Panko or GF )
1+T Seasoning Salt
Oil for frying
1 1/2 C Buttermilk
1/2 T Soy Sauce
1 tsp. Hot Sauce
-Place trimmed ribs in large pot and garlic salt and enough water to cover ribs. Bring to boil, lower temp to slow boil, boil 10 minutes. Remove ribs and allow to cool.
-Place ribs in large Ziploc type bag. Add marinade. Marinade at least 4 hours, but I suggest overnight.
-Place ribs in colander, and allow as much marinade to drain as possible.
-Place flour in pan (I use a pie place), mix in Cajun seasoning. Coat ribs in flour mixture, place on cooling grate and allow to sit 10 minutes.
-Combine eggs and bbq sauce, place flour coated ribs in egg wash, make sure all parts are coated.
-Combine cornflake crumbs and seasoning salt. Place egg washed ribs in crumbs, coating well. Place back on wire rack and allow to sit 15 minutes before frying.
-heat oil to 350, fry 5-7 minutes or until golden brown. Drain well, sprinkle with salt. Serve warm. Enjoy!
