Green Beans with Bacon & Cream Sauce

This recipe is almost like a mock green bean casserole.  I personally don’t like green bean casserole, but love this recipe.  We have Gluten Free options to make this recipe GF.

Ingredients:

2 C Green Beans, ends trimmed (steamed about 5 minutes)

4 Pieces Bacon, cut into small pieces

1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup https://junecleaver21stcenturystyle.wordpress.com/2015/08/13/campbells-cream-of-mushroom-soup-our-version/

1/8 C Milk or Veggie/Chicken Broth

Salt and Pepper to taste

Fried Onions (optional)

Directions:

-In large skillet over medium high heat, cook bacon about 7 minutes or until its about half way cooked.

-Add in green beans, skillet fry until bacon is fully cooked and green beans start to get slightly brown, if bacon cooks to quick, lower temperature.

-Combine milk with soup, pour over bacon and green beans.  Simmer 3 minutes.  Top with any amount of fried onions before serving. Enjoy!
