Oven Roasted Honey Mustard Chicken

This is a longtime family favorite, its easy to make and tastes amazing.



3 lbs. Chicken Breasts (Bone-in and with skin), can use cut up whole chicken

1/3 C Dijon Mustard (I use country style)

1/8 C French’s Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce, can use regular honey mustard (optional)

3 1/2 T Honey

1 tsp. Ground Mustard

1/2-1 tsp. Fresh Ground Black Pepper


-Mix sauce ingredients together.

-Grease large baking dish lightly, I brush the bottom of pan lightly with mustard mix, but this isn’t necessary;  place chicken (I start skin side down) in pan.  Brush half of mixture over chicken. Cover bake 375 for 30 minutes.

-Turn chicken over, brush with remaining mustard mixture  and bake uncovered for 30 minutes more or until chicken is done and juices run clear.

-Remove from oven, cover with foil, and allow to rest 10-20 minutes before serving.  This will guarantee moist and tasty chicken.
