20 Large Shells, cooked al-dente
1 lb. Ground Chicken
2 Cloves Garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. Italian Seasoning
1/4 tsp. Onion Powder
1/4 tsp. Salt
Pepper to taste
1/2C Mozzarella, shredded
1/4 C Parmesan Cheese, Shredded
1 Egg, beaten
1/2C Bread Crumb
1/2C Spinach, chopped (optional)
1 Jar Red Sauce
1 C Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
1 T Dried Parsley
-Brown chicken, when about have browned add in garlic, Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt and pepper. Once meat is fully cooked, pour into mixing bowl.
-Mix 1/2 mozzarella, the parmesan cheese, egg, spinach, and bread crumbs.
-In 13X9 baking pan, pour 1/3-1/2 c red sauce, ensuring the bottom of baking pan is coated.
-Fill each shell with a spoon of chicken mixture. Place each shell side by side, bottom side down in baking pan. Pour remaining sauce evenly over stuffed shells. Sprinkle 1C mozzarella cheese over sauce, sprinkle parsley. Cover with foil.
-Bake 350 degrees for 20 minutes, uncover and bake additional 10-15 or until cheese is bubbly. Enjoy!
