A1 Sauce Infused Twice Baked Potatoes

Many of my friends have informed me that they love A1 Sauce on their baked potatoes, I too love to add it to mine.  I created this recipe with them in mind.



4 Russet Potatoes

Olive Oil


1/4 C A1 Sauce

5T Butter

1C Shredded Cheese, divided

1/3 C Heavy Cream (can use milk)

3/4tsp. Salt

1/2tsp. Pepper

1T Chives, chopped fine (optional)


-Clean potatoes, poke holes in each one (I use a fork and poke top of potato twice), rub with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.  Place on foil line baking pan, bake 400 degrees for 1 hour. Remove from oven and allow to cool until you can handle them.

-Cut potatoes in half, and scoop out filling (leave about 1/4 inch in skins), place filling in large bowl.  Place skins in glass baking dish.

-In bowl add all other ingredients, 1/2C Cheese.  I use an electric mixer to ensure everything is evenly combined.

-Spoon potato mixture back into skins.  Top with 1/2 c Cheese. Bake 375 degrees for about 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.

-These are great topped with sour cream and bacon. Enjoy!
