Cheesesteak Pizza

The recipe is for 2 large pizzas, if only making one pizza simply cut all other ingredients in half.

1/2 C Cream Cheese (Can use about 1/3C Mayonnaise)

1 Onion, sliced

1/2 Green Bell Pepper, sliced

1/2 Red Bell Pepper, sliced

1/2 C Mushrooms, diced or sliced

1 lb. Thin Steak, sliced thin ( I used left over roast, can also use deli roast beef)

2T Olive Oil

2T Worcestershire Sauce

2/3 Parmesan Cheese, grated

1 C Monterrey Jack (Can use provolone or swiss)

1 C Mozzarella Cheese, grated

Garlic Powder

Olive Oil for brushing dough

Pizza Dough (any kind or brand is up to you) Ours Here:

-In large pan over medium heat add 2T Olive Oil, can add salt once oil is hot.  If using raw beef, add first and cook about 3-5 minutes (you don’t want it fully cooked), if using already cooked meat leave out, once meat has partially cooked follow next step.

  • Add Onion, Mushroom and Bell Pepper to pan.  Cook about 5 minutes or until mixture starts to soften.  Add beef.  Add 2 T Worcestershire sauce, and sauté vegetables and meat for about 3 minutes.  Remove from heat and set aside.

-Follow directions on pizza dough, brush with olive oil, sprinkle with garlic powder.  Take about 1/4 C Cream Cheese, and using a spoon spread over dough (this is you “Sauce”).  Top with 1/3 C Parmesan Cheese, top with meat and vegetable mixture.  Top with 1/2C mozzarella, 1/2C Monterey Jack. Bake per dough directions.
