Chicken Gyros


3 Boneless/skinless Chicken Breasts, cut into strips

2 T(heaping) Greek Yogurt

1T Oregano

2tsp. White Wine Vinegar

2 Cloves of Garlic, minced

2T Lemon Juice

Zest of half lemon

1/2 tsp. Salt and Pepper

2 T Olive Oil

1/2 tsp. Fennel

1/4 tsp. Cumin


  1. Mix all ingredients together, place cut chicken in bag, pour mixture over chicken, coat well.  Let marinate at least 30 minutes.

  2. Foil line baking pan, pour chicken and mixture in pan. Bake 350 for 20-30 minutes, or until liquid from chicken runs clear.  Flip chicken over half way through baking time.

  3. Remove from oven, place some chicken (can use cucumber, red onion, and tomato) on flat, pocketless pita.  Top with Tzatziki sauce. Enjoy.
